Chris Brown scores first UK No.1 single

Chris Brown has scored his first UK number one single with 'Turn Up the Music'.

The singer's latest single from upcoming album Fortune went straight in at this week's top position by a margin of 24,000 copies.

Sean Paul settles for this week's runner-up place for a second week with 'She Doesn't Mind', while Nicki Minaj climbs back up two places to three with 'Starships'.

Katy Perry's 'Part of Me' falls from last week's number one to four, with Gotye and Kimbra completing the top five with 'Somebody That I Used To Know'.

Plan B lands at six with 'ill Manors' from his directorial debut of the same name, due to be released on May 14.

Olly Murs enters this week's chart with his latest single 'Oh My Goodness' at 28, while The Vaccines climb to 35 with 'If You Wanna'.

B. Traits' debut single 'Fever' is the only other new entry this week at number 36.

Azealia Banks rises a further six places to a new high of 14 with '212', while JLS tumble 14 spots to 20 with 'Proud'.
