After another lead in the midweeks, the grime collective fended off competition from Plan B and Chipmunk, who both retained second and third place respectively.

'Watercolour', Pendulum's first single from album Immersion, debuted at number four. It is the band's highest-charting single, beating 'Propane Nightmares', which peaked at number nine in 2008. Meanwhile, fellow new entry Aggro Santos settled for fifth place with his first ever single 'Candy'.

Elsewhere, Diana Vickers slipped four places to eight, while Taio Cruz rose to number six with 'Dirty Picture', ahead of Chipmunk's 'Until You Were Gone' which slid two places to seventh position, and Timbaland who slotted in at number nine.

After five weeks in the top ten, Scouting For Girls finished at 11 with 'This Ain't A Love Song', beaten by Kelis with 'Acapella' which dropped only one place from last week.
