Tinie Tempah is the frontrunner for this year's Brit Awards after picking up four nominations, it has been announced.
The Plumstead-born rapper will battle Plan B in three categories - 'British Male Solo Artist', 'British Single' and 'British Album Of The Year' - while also competing for the 'British Breakthrough Act' gong.
Mumford & Sons and Mercury Prize winners The xx also appear three times on the shortlist, while Cheryl Cole, Take That, Ellie Goulding and Rumer receive a pair of nominations apiece.
X Factor alumni Matt Cardle, Olly Murs and Alexandra Burke will compete alongside mentor Cole, Tempah and artists including The Wanted and Florence & The Machine for the 'British Single' prize.
In the International categories, Eminem, Cee Lo Green, Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire and Katy Perry each receive a pair of nominations. The latter is competing against Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Robyn and Alicia Keys for the 'International Female Solo Artist' trophy.
This year's Brit Awards - hosted by James Corden - will take place at London's O2 arena on February 15.
