Superstar Ed Sheeran has announced he will be performing at the Coventry Building Society Arena. He will head to the city for an 'intimate' gig just before Christmas.

Ahead of the release of his new album Play, Sheeran has announced a run of shows for December. He will play in the UK, France, Germany, and Ireland before embarking on his 'Loop' tour, which kicks off in Australia in January 2026.

Sheeran will be performing in the Indoor Arena at the CBS Arena on Friday, December 5. He will be treating fans to some of his biggest hits, including Perfect, Shape of You and Thinking Out Loud.

Sheeran will be releasing his new album, Play, on September 12. Fans wanting access to the pre-sale for the Coventry and Manchester gigs can pre-order Play exclusively through Amazon before 7pm on September 7. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday, September 11.

As well as the CBS Arena in Coventry, Sheeran will be performing at Co-Op Live in Manchester and the 3Arena in Dublin. He will also be heading to Europe for two 'intimate' shows in Paris and Munich.

Paul Michael, Managing Director at the Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “Our Indoor Arena has welcomed some huge names throughout the last 20 years, but they simply do not come any bigger than Ed Sheeran.

“Ed is a true global superstar. He is one of the most popular and talented artists in the world, and we are incredibly excited to be welcoming him back to Coventry later this year.”
