GaGa fan 'pays $1million to star in vid'

A Lady GaGa fan reportedly paid $1 million to appear in her 'Alejandro' music video.

The man, a Russian billionaire known as Arkady, can be seen in the video playing a policeman dressed in a black leather hat and coat.

Holly Scoop quotes the 30-year-old saying: "Yes it was me in the clip, but I can't give further details."

GaGa is also said to be sworn to secrecy about his part in the nine-minute clip, which has sparked controversy for its religious connotations.

Director Steve Klein recently said: "The religious symbolism is not meant to denote anything negative, but represents the character's battle between the dark forces of this world and the spiritual salvation of the soul."
