After leading the midweeks, the London-based grime collective shot to the top spot, ahead of Usher, who remained at number two with 'OMG'. Their previous two singles 'The Avenue' and 'Shake A Leg' failed to reach the top ten.

Group member Target said: "Thanks a lot for everyone who have followed us since 2002. This is amazing for us. We're overwhelmed. Our tune should've been called 'OMG'."

Diana Vickers fell to fourth place from last week's chart victory with her debut single 'Once', as Plan B's 'She Said' rose to number three.

Elsewhere, Chipmunk also slid down the list to fifth place with 'Until You Were Gone', as did Scouting For Girls with 'This Ain't A Love Song', who claimed the seventh spot.

Professor Green's 'Need You Tonight' and Justin Timberlake's 'Carry Out' stayed solid at sixth and eighth respectively.

Meanwhile, Kelis took number nine with 'Acapella', while 'Dirty Picture' by Taio Cruz re-entered the top ten.

Glee's 'Like A Prayer' from their Power Of Madonna album was only the second new entry in the top twenty, finishing at 16.
