Coventry band Pritty Green land Cavern Club gig

A Coventry band has been asked to play at one of the UK’s most legendary music venues - the Cavern Club.



Mod and indie band, Pritty Green are only in their first year but have already been billed to play at the Modrophonic May Day Mod Weekender at the Cavern Club in Liverpool in April.

The five piece will play one night at the weekend-long event, and hope to impress audiences with their 60s and 70s inspired music.

Lee Taylor, who plays trumpet for the band, said: “We are massively excited.

"This is a big break for us and could lead to bigger and better things. There’s not many people that can say they have played the Cavern Club and it’s a big place for us to go.”
