Ellie Goulding has scored her first UK number one single with 'Burn'.
The track from her upcoming special edition album Halcyon Days sold 117,000 copies to reach the top of the pile.
She told The Official Charts Company: "It means the world to me to be number one at the moment. It was always my dream to have a UK number one single, and it's been a long time coming! Thank you to everyone who bought 'Burn' and everyone who has supported me over the last three years."
Avicii stays at two with 'Wake Me Up', while Miley Cyrus slips two from last week's top spot with 'We Can't Stop'. Lana Del Rey sticks at four with the Cedric Gervais remix of 'Summertime Sadness'.
Lady Gaga enters the chart at five, following the rush-release of 'Applause' in midweek, selling over 38,000 copies since Tuesday. Tinie Tempah slips three to six with 'Trampoline' and Robin Thicke drops two to seven with 'Blurred Lines'.
Arctic Monkeys land at eight with their latest track 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?'. Jay Z and Justin Timberlake slip two to nine with 'Holy Grail'.
The Wanted achieve their ninth Top 10 hit at ten with 'We Own the Night'. London DJ Ray Foxx enters at 12 with 'Boom Boom (Heartbeat)', featuring Rachel K Collier.
Drake leaps 41 places to 15 with 'Hold On We're Going Home', while Le Youth climbs seven spots to 28 with 'Cool'. OneRepublic enter the Top 40 at 30 with 'Counting Stars'.
