The Specials to perform at Olympic Games closing concert

Coventry legends the Specials will perform at a historic 'Best of British' show to mark the end of the London Olympic Games.



They join Blur and New Order on the line-up for the spectacular show in London's Hyde Park.

The closing ceremony celebration concert will be held on August 12.

Bass player Horace Panter said the band were excited to be involved in such a momentous event.

He said: "We have been keeping it under our pork pie hats for a month or so now.

"I think it is going to be the only chance people get to see the Specials performing in the UK this year."
