Amy Winehouse achieves posthumous albums No.1

The late Amy Winehouse has returned to the top of the UK album chart with her celebrated 2006 LP Back To Black.



The 'Tears Dry On Their Own' singer, who died last Saturday at the age of 27, took pole position from Adele's 21 after her passing prompted many to explore her critically-acclaimed discography.

As a result, her 2003 debut Frank - which previously peaked at 13 in 2005 - today achieves its best ever album chart placing at five, while a double pack of her two records finishes at ten.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Caro Emerald's Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor, Lady GaGa's Born This Way and Doo Wops & Hooligans by Bruno Mars fall together to this week's six, seven and eight respectively.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry soars eight spots up the chart with her August 2010 release Teenage Dream at 11, as Rihanna and the Foo Fighters exit the top-sellers after stumbling five places apiece with Loud and Wasting Light, this week's 12 and 15.

Also taking a tumble this Sunday are Cee Lo Green's The Lady Killer, down three to 16, and Take That's Progress, at 17 from its previous finish at 12.

Finally, Lady GaGa slips four to 19 with her first album The Fame, which becomes sandwiched between two risers in the shape of Noah And The Whale's The Last Night On Earth and Elbow's Build A Rocket Boys!, up seven and one respectively to 18 and 20.
