TV stardom is just around the corner for Leamington singing sensation Issy Ferris.
The 14-year-old is joining forces with former EastEnders favourite Tracy-Ann Oberman for ITVs new Sunday night prime-time show Born To Shine.
Music-loving Issy, a pupil at Kings High School, Warwick, will mentor her celebrity partner to help her learn how to hit the right note for the entertainment show hosted by Natasha Kaplinsky.
Born To Shine features the nations most talented children helping celebrities face new challenges to raise money for charity.
Issy was asked to audition for the show after reaching the finals of the UK's Open Mic competition.
Her talent for guitar and song writing led to her appearing at the O2 arena earlier this year and her YouTube video of her competition performance was spotted by ITV executives.
They tracked her down and invited her to take part in the programme which will feature celebrity guests including comedian Jason Manford, presenters Ruth Langsford and Jenny Bond and actor Joe Swash.
Issy, who grew up near Southam and now lives in Leamington, will be seen by millions of viewers when she and Tracy-Ann appear on the show on July 31.
