Families can enjoy festive magic with Santa Claus at Belgrade Theatre in Coventry

Santa Claus and Ellie the Elf will be taking to the stage until Christmas Eve



Santa Claus will be taking to the stage in a fun-filled production at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. Kids will have the chance to help bring Christmas to the North Pole in Santa's Sparkly Surprise.

Santa and Ellie the Elf have been so busy getting the presents ready for all of the children that they have forgotten to get themselves ready for Christmas. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Mouse are very sad that the workshop has no decorations, which means they are going to need the help of the audience to make the season as special as it should be ready for December 25.

Kids can get involved with festive sing-along songs and will also have the chance to meet Father Christmas. Children will also be able to hand deliver their lists and receive a special gift which can be saved for Christmas Day.

Santas Sparkly Surprise is the fifth show in the festive fun-filled series by Iain Lauchlan. He is known for presenting many well-loved kids' shows, such as Playschool, Fingermouse and Playdays.

Organisers say the 35-minute production is the 'perfect way to kickstart your celebrations' in the run-up to Christmas. It will be running from Thursday, December 7 to Sunday, December 24.
