The Olivier award winning show, based on the life and career of Eric Morecambe, comes to Coventry's Belgrade Theatre on Tuesday, 18 May.

It is a tribute to one of Britain's best-loved comedians and has recently completed a run in the West End.

Bob Golding takes on the role of Eric Morecambe, starting out as a humble Lancashire lad and becoming a national television star.

It is written by Tim Whitnall and is directed by Guy Masterson.

Many of Eric's contemporaries have been impressed with Bob's accuracy and likeness to the star, who took his surname from his hometown of Morecambe in Lancashire.

Ronnie Corbett has said about the play: "Spectacularly wonderful, Bob Golding has hit the bullseye with this stunning portrayal of Eric."

The one man show, that is packed with many laughs and memories, is at the Belgrade Theatre from Tuesday, 18 May until Saturday, 22 May.
