Burlesque is being staged for the first time in Nuneaton – to raise money for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. The cabaret show will feature exotic dancers and a female fire-eater and goes ahead at Queens Hall in the town centre on Saturday, April 14 at 7.30pm.
The organisers are Blue Lily Burlesque, who held a similar performance in Coventry last year, starring Britain’s Got Talent contestant Talulah Blue.
Confirmed acts for the Nuneaton show include fire-eater Venus Starr and dancers Aurora Toxique and Cherry Stone, while audience members are encouraged to get in the mood and wear burlesque-style costumes.
Hostess and compere Angel D’Lite said: “I’m delighted that Blue Lily Burlesque is re-opening its doors at such a great venue and raising money for such a worthwhile cause.”
