Comedy stars stop off at Bedworth

It's laughter all the way as top comedy stars head to Warwickshire.

Cornish comic Jethro, the legendary Ken Dodd, Dave Spikey, Joe Pasquale (pictured), Roy “Chubby” Brown and Jim Davidson will all be heading to Bedworth Civic Hall over the next few months.

There is also Bob The Builder and his new show Bob’s Big Theatre Build for young audiences and local schools, Leicestershire and Warwickshire County Music Services, dance academies and community groups will also be using the venue for a wide variety of performances.

There will be two major fundraising events on behalf of the Mary Ann Evans Hospice with a black tie Summer Ball on July 8 and Young Voices For Hospices on October 14.

General manager Tim Norton said the venue’s website was being updated daily with the new shows and the box office continued to supply up to the minute information.

The popular afternoon Blackpool Tower Show with dancing to Blackpool Tower organist John Bowdler returns with opportunities to dance the light fantastic.

Meanwhile, music of a different beat is on offer with Magic Of Motown, Rat Pack In Vegas Spectacular, In The Flesh - The Pink Floyd Show, Talon - The Best Of The Eagles, Vampires Rock, Magic - A Kind Of Queen, That’ll Be The Day, Beyond The Barricade, Smackee in Memories Are Made Of Hits and Treorchy Male Choir.
