New plays at the Belgrade are brightening up people’s lunchtimes this autumn.
A Play, a Pie and a Pint returned to the Coventry theatre this week, with
Dig by award-winning writer Katie Douglas, which ended on Friday.
Taking the stage from Tuesday until Friday next week will be
You Cannot Go Forward From Where You Are Right Now, a new play by David Watson that explores the effects of technology on communication and relationships.
Leo Butler’s
Juicy Fruits, a drama about two very different people who rekindle their friendship after six years, is on from Tuesday November 8 to Friday November 11.
Performances will take place in B2 at 1pm and 6pm from Tuesday to Thursday and 1pm on Friday, apart from Tues 1 to Fri 4 Nov, where performances will take place in the Belgrade’s Patrick Suite.
To accompany the play and the pint, the Belgrade’s Signatures restaurant will be offering a range of homemade pies, and the pint can be substituted for a glass of wine or a soft drink.
Tickets cost £12, including a pie and pint, with cheaper prices available if booked online. Call 024 7655 3055 or visit
