Coventry City youngster Conor Thomas has signed a professional deal to keep him at the Ricoh Arena until 2013.The central midfielder, who turned 17 on Friday, has come up through the Sky Blues academy but has yet to make his senior debut.
Academy manager Gregor Rioch said: "Conor is a player that has been very highly thought of since the day I walked through the door.
"He has a real drive and determination to be a professional player."
He added: "He's been around the first team and that will no doubt be good for his development as a player and to have a first year apprentice signing professional forms is a great achievement."
