Coventry City have drafted in Birmingham keeper Colin Doyle on a month's emergency loan. The 25-year-old Irishman is expected to go straight into the team for Tuesday night's Carling Cup first round tie at League Two Morecambe.
With Keiren Westwood away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland, the Sky Blues only had rookie Michael Quirke available.
Doyle is third choice at St Andrew's behind Ben Foster and Maik Taylor.
At the end of July, he joined Plymouth Argyle on a one-week trial.
