The 26-year-old will miss the second leg of their League Two play-off semi-final tie against Notts County.

Centre-back Davies was charged after he appeared to tread on Magpies defender Richard Duffy's leg in the first half of Saturday's 1-1 draw.

A statement from the Sky Blues said they will not appeal against the ban.

Davies was not punished during the match against County, but the incident with Duffy was caught on video.

The former Accrington and Portsmouth player will not be available for Friday's second leg at Meadow Lane (19:45 BST).

He will then miss either one or two matches of next season, depending on whether Coventry progress to the play-off final at Wembley on Monday, 28 May.
