The 18-year-old has yet to feature for the first team although he did twice make the bench last season.
Quirke, a regular for the Sky Blues academy side last term, officially turns pro on 28 June.
Competition comes from current number one Keiren Westwood and Danny Ireland, with out-of-contract Dimi Konstantopoulos set to leave the club.
