MK Dons 0-0 Coventry: Sky Blues secure fortunate point

Coventry City boss Steven Pressley praised his side’s determination after they claimed a hard-earned draw at Milton Keynes.
Pressley said before the game that this represented his side’s biggest challenge of the season and he was more than happy to return up the M1 with a point.
"I thought it was a fair result," said the Scot, "and I think everybody has seen two very good sides.
"I’m a big admirer of how MK play – they’ve recruited really well over the summer and they’re a very good side – and we had to show a brilliant mentality today.
"Our attitude to work the game in the manner I keep talking about was incredible, as was out commitment. To a man I was really proud of their performance today.
"It was a little bit on the knife-edge towards the end but this is a very good point for us on our travels.
"It’s a second clean sheet of the season and that’s three successive games without a defeat. I said that I wanted some momentum to take into our return to the Ricoh Arena and we’re well on our way to achieving that."
Pressley was far less impressed with the contribution of referee Darren Sheldrake, particularly in regards to the first-half incident when Darren Tudgay removed his long-sleeved vest and tossed it over the line.
The referee promptly ordered him to leave the pitch and kept him waiting for two minutes before allowing City to return to full strength.
"I thought some of his decisions were incredibly bizarre," said Pressley, "and I told him that at the end of the game.
"He refereed us at Gillingham last season and I made a number of points about his performance to the supervisors. I was disappointed with him again today, very frustrated – but I don’t want that to overshadow my side’s performance."
