Dutch forward on trial at Coventry City

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is looking ahead to January by taking a 21-year-old Dutch forward on trial at Ryton.

“He’s somebody we were interested in during the summer,” explained the manager, who picked up his new recruit from the airport last night.

“A deal couldn’t be done then but the situation has changed and he’s coming over so we can have a look at him and he can have a look at us.

“He can play either as a striker or out wide so if it works out he would give us two extra options for the price of one.”
