Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan says he would like to extend his stay at the club.Clingan is in his third season with the Sky Blues
Clingan's current contract runs out at the end of the season and discussions have started over a new deal.
The 27-year-old Northern Ireland international midfielder joined the Sky Blues from Norwich in July 2009.
"The chairman flew in to speak to all the players about their contracts. I'd definitely like to stay," Clingan told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.
