Coventry have an injury doubt over Aron Gunnarsson after he limped off during their win over Barnsley on Saturday.

On-loan pair Leon Barnett and Gary Madine cannot feature, Carl Baker is Cup-tied and Gary Deegan not registered in time to play in the competition.

Portsmouth must do without Jamie O'Hara but David James (calf) could return.

Aaron Mokoena is available after a one-match ban, but Nadir Belhadj, Hassan Yebda, Aruna Dindane and Kanu are all at the Africa Cup of Nations.


The tie in context

• This is one of three third round replays between a Premier League and a Championship club.

Gulf in class

• Portsmouth prop up the rest in the Premier League, but are still 14 places above Coventry.

Fourth Round draw

• Prize for the winners is a home tie against Premier League Sunderland.

• The 1-1 draw in the original tie at Fratton Park was the first time these clubs had met since Portsmouth's 4-0 victory at Highfield Road in March 2003 in their promotion-winning campaign to the Premier League. Paul Merson and Steve Stone were among their scorers on that day.

Update -a poor second half and the game ends 1-1 with an OG from Stephen Wright :(
