One of Coventry City’s rising young stars has been offered a better contract.17-year old Gael Bigirimana stepped up from the Sky Blues academy this summer and agreed a 2-year deal.
Boss Andy Thorn has been so impressed with his form in pre-season and his league debut against Leicester City on Saturday that he’s offered him an extra 12 months which will keep him at the Ricoh until June 2014.
Coventry City manager Andy Thorn said: “I’m delighted Gael has decided to sign this new deal. “He has acquitted himself extremely well since his step up to the first team, he fully deserved to make his league debut at the weekend and this extension shows how highly we regard him.”
