Coventry City drew 2-2 with Chesterfield as they continued their pre-season programme at the B2net Stadium on Tuesday.Full-back Chris Hussey opened the scoring in the first half but City were pegged back by a Dean Morgan effort after the break.
Sky Blues striker Lukas Jutkiewicz headed the visitors into the lead before Morgan equalised again.
All but one of the Coventry starting XI got a full 90 minutes under their belt.
City manager Andy Thorn was happy with what he had seen from his players as preparations continue ahead of their Championship opener against Leicester a week on Saturday.
Thorn told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "It was a good work out and 90 minutes for us.
"They kept freshening things up, which made it very difficult.
"We could have changed and made it slightly easier for ourselves but we didn't want to. We wanted everyone to have the 90.
"The scores don't interest me. It's the play and we played some good stuff.
"Everything gears up to 6 August against Leicester."
