The midfield prodigy enjoyed his time at Liverpool but admits he’s happy to be back with the Sky Blues to develop his craft and further his career.

A product of the club’s Academy system, the 17-year-old has spoken publicly for the first time since returning to the fold he has been in since he was eight.

“It feels great to be back, to see all the lads and the familiar faces again,” said the central midfielder.

“It was a good experience and I am glad I did it but I am much happier now I am back.

“I am enjoying my football again and I just think it was better for me to be here while I am young and hopefully get some first-team appearances under my belt here in the future and kick on from there.”
