Coventry City have been hit by the resignation of two senior members of the club’s finance and commercial departments.
The Sky Blues’ finance and operations director John Street quit this week after more than ten years with City but is understood to be continuing to work for ACL, the company that runs the Ricoh Arena.
And commercial manager Jas Sodhi, who has helped bring in a lot of new business and introduced improvements to the department, is also leaving the football club to take up a post with another employer.
The departures are seen as a blow to the club at a time of intense financial difficulties.
A football club insider said: “A lot of people are very sorry to see them go because they are very talented and valued members of staff.”
