Coventry City to face Leicester City followed by Birmingham

Coventry City will kick off the new season against Leicester City at home on August 6 - before facing Marlon King's Bimingham City away.



The M69 derby games are usually the most looked-for matches on the Sky Blues calendar but this year it's the trip to St Andrew's on August 13 that will get pulses racing.

It will be the first time that King has faced the Sky Blues since he did a U-turn over a new contract and opted to move to Birmingham instead.

The return trip for the M69 derby will take place on March 3 while King will no doubt face a testing reception at the Ricoh Arena on March 10.

City fans will enjoy two home games over the Christmas period - Bristol City on Boxing Day and Brighton on December 31 - before a trip to West Ham on January 2.

Sadly, the seaside trips to Brighton and Blackpool will take place in Winter. City travel to Brighton on November 26 and make the trip to Blackpool on January 31.
