Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson admits he is unsure of his future at the Ricoh Arena.

The Iceland international joined the Sky Blues on a three-year deal in 2008 but claims he is in the dark about whether he will be staying.

"I've not got a clue. I've not heard anything," Gunnarsson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.

"I don't know if they're speaking to my agent," he added after scoring in the 2-2 draw at Derby County on Saturday.

The Sky Blues have picked up five points from four games under caretaker-manager Andy Thorn as the club look to avoid a relegation dogfight.

With six matches to go, City are nine points clear of the Championship's drop-zone and Gunnarsson believes the whole squad are enjoying their football again.

"All the players are playing football with a smile on their faces which is important," he said.

"We've got four goals in the last couple of games and conceded two. It's positive and we just have to look ahead and keep going."
