TEAM NEWSMidfield duo Cole Skuse and Jamal Campbell-Ryce are doubtful for Bristol City after picking up knocks during Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough.
Both players were unable to train on Thursday morning and could miss the game at Ashton Gate.
Coventry striker Freddy Eastwood has been nursing a knee problem but is back in training and should be passed fit to rejoin the squad.
Midfielder Aron Gunnarsson took a knock against Blackpool but has recovered.
MATCH PREVIEWWhen Coventry sold Leon Best to Newcastle this week, they lost their top scorer and one of only six players to have scored in the Championship for the Sky Blues this season.
Best leaves behind a team that are 16th in the table - seven points above the relegation zone - and now hugely reliant on striker Clinton Morrison, who is set to make the 400th start of his career.
These are also difficult times for Bristol City, who have been struggling badly and return to Ashton Gate - previously a fortress for the Robins - for the first time since being demolished 6-0 there by Cardiff.
Gary Johnson's side have won only twice since October. And since their last win - a 4-2 victory against Preston last month - they have not scored a goal.
MATCH FACTSHead-to-head• These two clubs are meeting for the 50th time in a league match.
• Bristol City have won their last four home matches against Coventry, who have taken a total of one point from their last six meetings with the Robins.
