Paranoia?

"I'm not being paranoid am I?" I asked my mate "That bloke over there is staring at me"
"You're right mate" he whispered "I'd kick off if I were you."
The staring continued for a little while longer, and then he began walking towards me. I could hear all my mates behind me, urging me to kick off.
"This is it", I thought, clenching my fist.
