According to government statistics (I'm not making this up) the average family spends £26.38 a week on food!

In the past, I have had cause to take the ONS to task, I assume this is where these figures have originated?

I wonder how you feed a family of 4 (if that's still the 'norm') on less than £30/week? Maybe they ought to publish the most popular foods and where to buy them?

I think the word ar$ehole$ comes to mind.
