The Lone Ranger and Tonto were riding through the desert one day. Tonto stopped and said to the Lone Ranger, 'man on horseback, following us.'

'How high is he on the horizon?' asks the Lone Ranger.

'He's this high' says Tonto indicating with his hand just below his knee.

'He's 30 miles away, nothing to worry about' says the Lone Ranger.

They carry on riding. A little while later Tonto 'says man on horseback still following us.'

'How high is he now on the horizon' asks the Lone Ranger?

'He's this high 'says Tonto indicating with his hand at waist height.

'Nothing to worry about Tonto, he's 20 miles away' says the Lone Ranger.

They continue riding. Then Tonto says, 'man on horseback still following us.

''How high is he on the horizon now' asks the Lone Ranger?

'This high' says Tonto indicating chest level.

'He's 10 miles away, nothing to worry about' says the Lone Ranger.

They carry on riding. Tonto suddenly stops and says, 'man on horseback still following us.'

'How high is he on the horizon' asks the Lone Ranger?

'He's this big!' shouts Tonto holding his hand level with his eyes.

'Quick shoot him, he's right behind us' shouts the Lone Ranger.

'I can't do that' replies Tonto.
