Hair of the dog

My neighbour found out that her dog was going deaf so she went to the vet and he found out that the dog's ears were full of hair.
He treated it and recommended that the neighbour should treat the dog with hair remover every month.
She went to the chemist to get some hair remover. The chemist says to her "If you are using this under your arms don't use deodorant for a week."
My neighbour says "It's not for under my arms."
He says" If you are using on your legs, then don't shave for a week."
She says "It's not for my legs and if you must know using it for my Schnauser"
"In that case " said the chemist " I recommend that you don't cycle for a while"
