Headlines, well they depend...

Two young boys are having a kick-around in a Manchester park, when a huge pitbull attacks one, throwing him about like a rag doll.

His quick thinking pal grabs a nearby branch, feeds it through the collar and turns it round and round, choking the dog.

Minutes later, the dog lay dead and the young boy is saved.

At this point a witness to the drama runs to the scene.

"Son, that was amazing. I'm a reporter for the local paper and let me tell you, you are going to be big news. I can see the headline now...."

'YOUNG UNITED FAN FENDS OFF DEVIL DOG'

"But mister" interrupts the boy. "I don't support United"

"Not to worry" the reporter tells him. "We'll run with...."

Once again, the boy protests. "But mister I aint a City fan either, I follow Liverpool."

"Oh, I see...." says the reporter.
