My dog was so traumatised by all the banging, screeching and wailing on Saturday night that he cowered behind the sofa and didn't come out until the whole racket was over.
Spoiler:
From now on we're going to put him in the kitchen when we watch the X Factor!
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
