Dad's advice

A young mouse looked out of his hole, sniffed and smelt cheese. He was about to run out to get it when he remembered his father's words "always be very careful when going after cheese". So he sat still and listened and heard a faint 'Miaow', so he stayed inside, congratulating himself on heeding his father's advice.

The next day he looked out again, smelt the cheese and listened. He heard a faint 'Woof, Woof' and said to himself 'the dog has chased the cat away and I'm quite safe'. So he ran out and started to eat the cheese whereupon he was immediately pounced on by the cat who gobbled him up and when the cat was finished he said....' I'm glad I followed my father's advice and...
