Stolen iPad
Posted: Fri Oct 25, 2013 11:21 amI was on jury service at a theft trial in Brixton Crown Court when I noticed that my iPad had been stolen.
"Well, where was it?", said the clerk, as another convicted criminal passed by on their way to jail.
"In my bag," I said, "which I left unattended whilst I went to the toilet."
"What?!", he said, alarmed, "Here? Are you crazy?!"
Then he looked around, pulled me in close and in a lowered voice said:
