Holmes and Watson

In the middle of their second night, Sherlock nudges Dr. Watson and asks, “Tell me, Doctor, what do you see?”
“I see stars,” replied Dr. Watson.
“And what does that tell you?”
“That the Universe is a vast and wonderful place.”
“What else does it tell you?”
“That mankind is but a small part of God’s Creation.”
“Yes, but what else?”
“That our troubles are actually quite insignificant in the overall scheme of things.”
“Yes, all that is true, Doctor Watson, but do you know what it tells me?”
“What, Holmes?”
