Indecent exposure

A lady complained to the police that the man who lived opposite her was exposing himself to her each night from his bedroom window as she was going to bed.

A policeman attended and asked if she would show him the window of the exposer.

She took him up to her bedroom but he noted that a large tree obscured the view of the windows of the house opposite.

He said “ you can’t see the house across the road because of the tree “
