Congratulations to UK supermarkets for replacing the small amount of plastic that used to hold 4-packs of beer together with a lot of cardboard that doesn't.

This forces customers to buy a carrier bag, contributing far more plastic waste to the environment than at any point in history. Oh, well done.

I've never seen so much plastic packaging since they banned plastic carrier bags. Everything I buy is now wrapped in plastic.
