I was queuing up in our local shop yesterday and there was a small boy in front of me holding a handful of sweets. Just as it was his turn to pay, he dropped his £1 coin and it rolled under some shelves out of his reach.

The cashier just glared at him as he stood there red faced with big tears welling up in his eyes, so I took pity on the lad.

"Don't worry son," I smiled. "C'mon...
