Prison

Thu Mar 03, 2016 10:48 am

The Home Secretary is visiting a maximum security prison. While on a tour of the landings, she stops by a cell and gets talking to a prisoner.

After a few minutes, she decides to pay the inmate a compliment: "You seem very articulate. Have you ever considered a career as a lawyer once you get out of here?"

The inmate's face betrays his astonishment. Shocked at the suggestion, he replies: "Now look, I know I robbed a bank,
Spoiler:
but even I wouldn't stoop that low. We're not all low life scumbags in here you know".
