Taken ill in Scotland

On a recent business trip to Glasgow, I was taken ill and admitted to hospital.

"What's that?" I asked as the nurse handed me a tray.

"It's your medication," she replied, "Surely you've seen pills before?"

"Of course I have," I hesitated,
