That' so that Coca Cola, Adidas et al can make loads of dosh.....
Did you know that you aren't allowed to take either a Digital single lens reflex camera or a compact camera with interchangeable lens into the Olympics? That's because it might harm the profits of the firm with the franchise to photograph the Olympics, should anyone else might get any decent photos of it........
