One day as Edna was speeding up one corridor a door opened and Potty Philip stepped out with his arm outstretched and hand upward palm facing her.
"STOP!" he shouted in a firm voice. "Have you got a licence for that thing?"
Edna dug deep in her handbag and pulled out a Mars Bar wrapper and held it up to him.
"Okay" he said, and off Edna went, wheel-spinning down the hallway.
As she took the next corner near the TV lounge on one wheel, Wacky Wally leapt out in front of her and shouted: "STOP! Have you got proof of insurance for that vehicle?"
Edna again delved deep into her handbag, pulled out a crumpled book token she'd been given last Christmas and held it up to him. Wacky Wally looked at it then said: "Thank you Ma'am you may go"
