Not having seen it, it took me a while to realise these were references to the Jubilee Concert. :oops:

I've now edited the title of the thread to avoid any confusion.

Actually I thought the whole idea of having a pop concert to celebrate Royalty was quite bizarre. Is that the kind of music Her Majesty would ever listen to in private?

According to one (usually reliable) source, HM had ear plugs in at the concert!

It's all part of her devotion to duty. Or else a republican plot to drive her mad so they can persuade her to abdicate...... or something like that..........
