BBC Three is rolling out across TV platforms ahead of its launch on 1st February. All Freesat receivers should automatically add BBC Three to channel 107 and move BBC Four and Scotland by Friday morning. This is because some older Freesat boxes automatically update the channel list overnight.

A preview loop will be available each night from 7pm.

The BBC has freed up channel 110 from SD simulcasts to create room for the BBC Three channel, allowing other channels to shuffle down.

BBC Three will launch nationwide on Freesat channel 107. It will broadcast in HD by default, although older Freesat receivers will show the SD channel in its place.

BBC Four is moved up to channel 108. Meanwhile, BBC Scotland is due to move up to channel 110.

Standard definition simulcasts of BBC One in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland move to channel 180. Meanwhile, in England, its BBC Two SD that moves to 180.

Many LG and Samsung TVs have Freesat built-in, so these channel numbers will also apply to users of these smart TVs where it is connected to a satellite dish.

If you are receiving through a normal TV aerial, then you have Freeview, not Freesat.

Please note that on Freeview (as opposed to Freesat) BBC3 is on Channel 23 and BBC3HD is on Channel 109.
