I see they've gone from racing cars that no one on the planet can afford to fabricating history.

According to the latest episode Audi invented four-wheel drive and the Quattro was "the first performance car to be fitted with it"!

This is a Jensen FF from fourteen years earlier fitted with Harry Ferguson's four-wheel drive system:

I believe Spyker was even earlier (1903)
